Swaying palms, breathtaking ocean views...
If you are in search of an exquisite, private event estate, then you have found it HERE! This exquisite estate is available for ceremonies and ceremonies and receptions. It is popular and a one-of-a-kind event estate, so contact us ASAP to reserve it for your special event.
It
IS possible to get married on the beach at this site, but the beach
is public. SO, a permit from the state is required. Although in the past
we have been permitted to set up props and equipment on the beach, we
are no longer able to do so (STATE LAW). However, there are some
things we can do to make your beach wedding quite beautiful.
This
location is the perfect option for ceremonies only or ceremonies and
receptions. There are restroom facilities for your guests and hales for
minimal coverage, but all furniture, tents, equipment, dance floors,
etc. need to be rented. If you plan to have dancing at your event, it
will be necessary to rent a dance floor (yes, we help you with all of
that, too!). You have total creative freedom with your event at this
venue. Parking is available for up to 200 guests.
Phase I and Phase II are both so beautiful, that it is a challenge to decide between the two! You can certainly rent both phases, if you wish. However, many of our clients need to choose between one or the other. The rates are based on time slots (9am-3pm or 4pm-9:30pm), but there is also an option to rent the property for up to 2 hours/50 person limit or a photo shoot. If you want the property for the entire day if you want more time for event preparation and celebration. When your event ends at 9:30pm, you will say "aloha" to your guests, and you and your vendors will have up to 90 minutes to break down and clean up the site. If you book your event for the afternoon time slot, you have to be totally cleaned up and gone an hour before the next event begins. The evening booking can begin set up during that time. Also, if you pay an additional fee, and the site is available, you can begin set up the evening before your wedding day.
Phase
I is the first phase you see when you enter the property. It has tall
swaying coconut palms. This area is closest to Paradise Cove and
accommodates up to 700 people. The larger hale (hut) is located in this
phase, which offers a nice covered area for a private intimate
dinner/luncheon, a back up for your ceremony, or an area for your bar
and buffet. The hale can accommodate up to 50 people, and offers more
than Phase II's hale (ie. sink area, food prep area, electrical outlets).
Phase I has access to Central Cove ("Ani Ani Ku") and an existing stage
called "Pa Hula." The stage is used only for hula performances if
approved by the property manager. The area where our clients typically
have their ceremonies is on the lawn area closest to the beach. There
are shrubs/hedges that separate the beach area from the lawn area.

Phase
II has the desirable sea wall, which makes the beach more visible during
your ceremony. There is also a great little sandy area where you can
have an intimate barefoot on the sand ceremony without ruining your
attire. The Ihilani Marriott is visible from this side of the property.
The trees are different on this side, as well. A romantic iron bench
rests by a tree looking at the water, offering an opportunity for your
romantic private moments together. Phase II accommodates up to 1,000
people. A hale is located in Phase II, but it is smaller and less
accommodating than Phase I's hale. Both Central Cove ("Ani Ani Ku") and
Cove 3 (Ka'ula Bay) can be accessed from Phase II.

Although it is possible to hear the entertainment from Paradise Cove (next door to this property), it has not been a problem for our clients. If you plan on having your ceremony and reception on site, we recommend doing your ceremony at Phase II and your reception at Phase I. Since it IS possible for another booking to occur (if you have Phase I, someone else can book Phase II), this would provide the ultimate amount of privacy for your event.
If
you have an afternoon booking at this estate, your guests can enjoy the
sand and swim in the ocean in Central Cove, but NOT Cove 3. No
more than 100 guests can use the beach to swim at one time. In order to
swim in the ocean during your event, it will be necessary for YOU to pay
a lifeguard for the duration of the event (we can help with the hiring
of a lifeguard).
Pricing is based on day of the week, time of day, and amount of guests. In order to maintain the property's beauty and cultural traditions of Hawaii, this venue needs to charge enough to cover the amount of maintenance that will be required before and after your event.
For catered events on site, it is best to have your caterers prepare most of the food prior to the event. However, there are designated areas approved by the resident manager where you caterers can grill and re-heat your food on property during your event.
The big question...what happens if it rains???? Located on the 'Ewa Plain of Oahu, this venue is on what is considered to be the "dry side" of the island. BUT, like any tropical location, it can rain, even for just 5 minutes, AT ANY TIME OF DAY and ANY TIME OF YEAR. Although Phase I's hale can accommodate up to 50 people, this may not work for your event, especially if you are on Phase II. If Phase I is not being used, Phase II people can use the hale on Phase I. BUT, we STRONGLY RECOMMEND tenting your event. If you are having a reception at this location, we require a tent be rented out of fairness to your guests, to protect your food and decor, and to provide additional lighting.
