KOKOHEAD GAZEBO

Koko Head Gazebo

Oceanfront gazebo located at the far end of the resort (past the pool)
Overlooks Koko Head mountain
More secluded location
Can accommodate up to 100 chairs
lf 'low tide' (below sea level) may see the reef
As a general rule, tends to be windier than the Diamond Head Gazebo
Larger gazebo structure
If ceremony only, may only be reserved at 1pm on Sundays as we keep gazebo sites open for those having receptions

DIAMOND HEAD GAZEBO

Diamond Head Gazebo

Oceanfront Gazebo located close to the Plumeria Beach House Restaurant and CHI Health Energy Fitness Hale
Adjacent to the Kahala o Ke Kai
Maximum number of chairs at this location is 60
Overlooks island
Closer to the main ballrooms
As a general rule, tends to be less windy than other gazebos (always subject to change)
Smaller gazebo structure
If ceremony only, may only be reserved on weekdays as we keep gazebo sites open for those having receptions on the weekends

(no amplified noise, reception noise ends at 8pm)

Waterfall Garden

May only be used in conjunction with the Waialae Ballroom
Garden setting with waterfall backdrop
Maximum seating is 20
As a general rule, tends to be the windiest area

BALLROOMS

Food and beverage minimums apply to ballroom use and receptions. They range from $8,000 to $20,000.

WAIALE BALLROOM

Floor to ceiling glass window on one side of room overlooks waterfall garden
Spotlight on waterfall in the evening as well as tiki torches
Maximum of 100 without dance floor (better number is usually 80-90 for weddings due to dance floor, video, head table, etc.)
Cocktails may be served outside by waterfall (weather permitting)
Suggest not having receiving line so guests may enter ballroom while bride and groom take pictures (cocktails may not be served in lower lobby as it is a common area)

KAINOA BALLROOM

Kainoa II Boardroom
At 415 square feet, this room is the perfect size for smaller business meetings. Distinguished yet inviting, it provides a view of the lush tropical gardens and is equipped with a 32-inch remote television, VCR and the latest in audiovisual equipment. It can accommodate up to 12 people around its handsome mahogany table.

Kainoa I Meeting Room
Specifically designed with smaller meetings in mind, this flexible room can be reconfigured into U-shaped, classroom and theater-style layouts. Equipped with a built-in white board and climate controls, it is just steps away from our fully equipped Business Center. At 415 square feet, it can comfortably accommodate 16-20 people.

MAILE BALLROOM

One large ballroom that can accommodate up to 320 which can be subdivided into three sections
Floor to ceiling glass window in prefunction (foyer)
Airwall doors between ballroom and foyer area may be opened so guests do not have “enclosed” feeling
Depending on set-up, about 320 within ballroom doors (entire room) or 100 per section (subject to change depending on dance floor, video, head table, etc.)
Cocktails may be served in foyer area directly in front of ballroom

KAHALA O O KE KAI

Kahala o Ke Kai — Reception (using room only)

Prime Oceanfront room (16’ x 48’) with folding glass doors that open to lawn area
Maximum of 40 guests using four rounds of 10 (not one seat more) or oval shaped table up to 32 guests
Amplification is not allowed for evening events (microphone, sound system, etc.) due to nearby condominiums
All events conclude by 10pm
Location is adjacent to the Diamond Head Gazebo

Kahala o Ke Kai — Outdoor Reception with Tent

Prime Oceanfront room with folding glass doors that open to lawn area is used for buffet or cocktails and tent is placed on lawn area for seating
Amplification is not allowed for evening events (microphone, sound system, etc.) due to nearby condominiums
All events conclude by 10pm
Limited availability of outdoor receptions (maximum of 100 guests) with rental of tent (limited due to amount of time required for tent installation, set-up under the tent, the event time and breakdown of tent)
Tent costs $2,500 and up depending on size and lighting
Location is adjacent to the Diamond Head Gazebo
